Interpretation and Variation

1.1 Definitions:

“Company” means Flor Yoga Ltd (t/a Sahna).

“Member” means someone who has completed a registration form in person at listed studios (Company) or online at sahna.yoga  and whose registration is accepted.

“Studio” means the Sahna studio at Primrose Hill, 200 Regents Park Road, NW1 8BE.

“Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions.

1.2 Singular includes plural, and masculine includes feminine.

1.3 Terms and Conditions are part of the Registration Form.

1.4 The Company can change the Terms and Conditions as needed, notifying Members of changes, which will be binding.

1.5 Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.

Membership

2.1 Subject to condition 2.2, completion of the Registration Form makes you a Member.

2.2 Acceptance as a Member is at the Company’s discretion.

2.3 The Company can expel, suspend, or refuse to renew membership if conduct is harmful to the Studio’s character, breaches Terms and Conditions, or is in other Members’ interests. Expelled members lose membership and are not entitled to a refund.

2.4 If a Member brings a guest to the Studio, that guest must become a Member before participating.

2.5 If any payment is overdue, the Company can add collection costs.

2.6 Membership is non-transferable.

2.7 Payments are non-refundable, subject to statutory rights. Approved refunds may incur an admin fee of £25.

2.8 A member can only cancel or freeze a series of classes due to medical reasons or a change of circumstances this may only be applied to a series of classes once. Cancellation requires written notice and documentation, with a £25 admin fee applied.

2.9 Concessionary rates require valid ID at the time of purchase.

Studio Opening Times

3.1 Session times may vary and are available at the Studio or sahna.yoga   

3.2 The Studio can change the schedule.

3.3 The Studio can vary, adapt, or amend the yoga series.

Payment Terms

4.1 Class and gift certificate prices are available at sahna.yoga  or directly from the Studio and are set by the Company.

4.2 Members must book and pay before attending a session.

4.3 Payments are non-refundable, subject to statutory rights. Partially used packages are not refundable. Refunds, if given, will be calculated based on classes used, at the manager’s discretion with written requests.

Monthly (Autopay) Subscriptions

5.1 This section applies to monthly subscriptions via Auto-Pay.

5.2 Subscription allows participation in a specific number of classes until terminated. Membership is forfeited after 30 days of non-payment, with liability for outstanding payments.

5.3 Any Member who purchases classes by Subscription may, at the discretion of the Company, suspend their membership for a combined total period of two weeks (at a minimum of one week at any time) in any 12-month period. An administration fee of £25 per month may be payable by way of reduced monthly subscription or as otherwise indicated by the Company for the period of suspension.

5.4 Subscription fees are due regardless of Studio usage.

5.5 The Company can increase subscription fees with 10 days’ notice via signs, the website, or email.

5.6 Subscribing Members cannot cancel before the minimum period (1 full payment cycle).

5.7 Subscriptions continue unless cancelled via the Momence app or through written request to the Studio. No refunds for paid fees.

5.8 If Subscription is unpaid or cancelled during the minimum period, the Member is liable for outstanding amounts.

5.9 Members agree to preferential rates and are responsible for payments.

5.10 Members must cancel direct debits/standing orders. The Company is not liable for payments processed after termination.

5.11 Members can cancel if they disagree with fee changes, with continued payments at the current rate until the end of the notice period.

5.12 If the Subscription is paid by debit or with credit card (or any Subscription fees remain outstanding beyond the due date) the Member unconditionally and irrevocably authorises the Company to debit any credit or debit card provided by the Member with the monthly Subscription fee (or any outstanding fees) without notice to the Member.

5.11 In the event of an immediate closure, you will be entitled to a refund of monies left over on your subscription/package.

  1. Bookings and Cancellations

6.1 Bookings/rescheduling are only allowed via the Studio, authorized third-party app, or booking facility at sahna.yoga 

Members will be charged for a session where cancellation or the rescheduling of a session is not made online or notice of the same is delivered by hand to the Studio and received in person by a Studio worker at least 4 hours prior to the booked time.

6.2 Sessions are first-come, first-served. The waiting list is available at sahna.yoga .

6.3 Cancellation is accepted up to 4 hours before the start time.

6.4 Cancellations must be made online using the website sahna.yoga  or Momence App.

6.5 Late cancellations are “no shows,” incurring consequences:

Membership Students: 3 late cancels/no shows in one month suspend booking privileges for one month.

Class Pass Students (including autopay): Class deduction.

Intro Offer Students: 3 late cancels/no shows terminate the pass.

6.6 Members must sign in 5 minutes before class; failure of doing so is a “no show.”

6.7 Available spaces are allocated 5 minutes before class, prioritizing the waitlist.

6.8 Booking and Cancellation Policy applies.

6.9 Private sessions:

6.9.1 Requires a card on file, charged only if payment is nominated or cancellation is missed (48 hours’ notice).

6.9.2 Bulk purchases expire in 3 months. Missed cancellations incur full charge.

6.9.3 Must be booked via the manager/employee. Clients are responsible for providing a safe space.

  1. Fitness and Health

7.1 Seek medical advice before participating. The Studio can refuse access if health is at risk.

7.2 Members with health conditions should not attend without doctor’s permission and must notify the Studio of relevant health issues.

7.3 Members must follow instructions but prioritize their comfort. They are responsible for their safety and waive claims against the Studio for self-initiated poses.

  1. Limitation of Liability

8.1 The Company is not responsible for unavailability of sessions/instructors. The Company can alter schedules/facilities without notice and is not liable for resulting losses, unless legally required.

8.2 Members are responsible for their fitness level and assume the risk of injury.

8.3 The Company is not liable for property loss/damage or injury, unless legally required.

8.4 The Company limits liability for negligence resulting in death/injury but excludes other liability.

  1. Use of Facilities

9.1 The Studio can withdraw facilities for cleaning/repair.

9.2 Children under 16 are not allowed at Sahna yoga.

9.3 Children may not enter changing rooms or other areas reserved for the opposite sex, regardless of whether they are accompanied by an adult.

We welcome students between 16 and 18 years old. They MUST have a parent or guardian present practising the class with them for every class – they cannot practice alone.

  1. Personal Belongings

10.1 Belongings are at the Member’s risk; the Company is not liable for loss/damage.

10.2 Items should be left in lockers.

10.3 Items cannot be left with staff.

  1. Dress

11.1 Dress should be appropriate for hot yoga; transparent clothing is not allowed.

11.2 Sessions are barefoot; verrucae/warts must be covered.

11.3 Use a covered yoga mat; mats are available for hire/purchase. The Company is not responsible for mat condition/availability.

  1. Safety & Hygiene

12.1 No food/glassware is allowed; only water is permitted. No drinks other than water are allowed in the Studio. No drinks with any colour are permitted. No pets, except guide dogs.

12.2 Do not walk barefoot with verrucae/warts; use coverings.

12.3 Members must use the main entrance. Fire exits are only for emergencies.

12.4 Smoking and vaping are forbidden.

12.5 Attendance depends on safe capacity; first come, first served.

  1. Medical Disclaimer

By registering, I acknowledge:

13.1 Yoga involves physical exertion and risks.

13.2 I should consult a doctor and am physically fit. If I am pregnant I understand that I cannot attend any classes.

13.3 I assume responsibility for risks and damages from participating.

13.4 I waive claims against the Company, teachers, or associated parties.

13.5 Adjustments are optional; inform the instructor of preferences.

13.6 I am in charge of my own yoga practise, can sit out poses if I need to, and that if I am injured I will tell the teacher and work with them to find suitable modifications, I am free to modify any pose or movement I find uncomfortable or sit it out.

13.7 I hereby take full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with yoga classes or any other events.

13.8 I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Flor Yoga LTD, Sahna, teachers, the studios or any other associated company or its employees for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.

13.9. I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above under my own free will and by registering for classes in the studios or online classes I hereby accept these terms.

  1. General

14.1 Members must notify of address/email changes.

14.2 The Company can refuse admission.

14.3 The Company can assign Registration benefits to a third party.

14.4 Third parties have no rights under this agreement.

14.5 The Company can communicate by email, but email may not be secure.

14.6 Members must follow Studio guidelines and directions.

14.7 Materials are the Company’s property and copyright.
